Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrive at Cochin airport – Transfer to Cochin – Check in at the hotel.

Afternoon Sightseeing tour - Discover the rich European legacy and historical charm of Kochi. Enjoy personalized service and detailing from an expert local English speaking Guide. Walk along its streets and explore all its highlights, see the Chinese fishing nets introduced by traders from the coutrt of Kublai Khan, visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, admire the stunning architecture of Santa Cruz Basilica and world’s best Indian murals at Mattancherry Palace, the beautiful natural harbor to the Portuguese and Dutch heritage sites.

 

Day 2:

Breakfast and check out from the Hotel.

Proceed to Munnar (Hill station 3hr 45mnts -130.2 km) located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala.

Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above sea level, in the Western Ghats range of mountains. The name Munnar is believed to mean "three rivers"

Afternoon lunch and proceed for the sightseeing of Munnar covering Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Munnar is a nature lover's paradise with endless teagardens lakes on western ghat hills, basically it is a tea town.

Day 3:

After breakfast – check out and proceed to Thekkady (2hr 45mnts), it is located near to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border.

The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen,  moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed Macaques and Nilgiri Langurs. Visit to the famous Periyar wild life safari for boating in forest with plantation tour – evening check in Hotel and overnight stay.

 

Day 4:

After breakfast, check out and departure to Alleppey (3hr 45mnts – 1390km)

Alappuzha is an important tourist destination in India. The Backwaters of Alappuzha are the most popular tourist attraction in Kerala. A houseboat cruise in these backwaters is a delightful experience. Alappuzha is also the access point for the annual Nehru Trophy Boat Race, held on the Punnamada Lake, near Alappuzha, on the second Saturday of August every year.

12:00 check in Deluxe House Boat – welcome drink and served in house prepared Kerala traditional lunch there after sightseeing of backwater cruise along the canals & paddy fields of backwater visiting the villages of backwater.

Evening tea with Kerala snacks banana fry, Kappa & fish curry, Naiappam, Unniappam etc.

Evening buffet dinner with Appam & Erachi, pearl spotted fish fry, Kerala Porota, rice puttu etc. Achor in the lake with pin drop silent, you can enjoy small waves and breeze with voice of the nature.

Overnight at the Boat.

 

Day 5:

Morning Kerala traditional breakfast and check out.

Transfer to Cochin International airport or Alleppey railway station – flight / train to your destination.
